About FIERCE Athlete Inc.
FIERCE Athlete Inc. (“FIERCE”) is a nonprofit organization based in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania dedicated to empowering female athletes to thrive in their God-given identity and femininity. FIERCE’s mission is to foster and equip an army of fierce, integrated current and former female athletes who will positively impact the culture of women’s athletics. Through equipping coaches, mentoring and discipling athletes, training female athletes in physical, mental, and spiritual virtue, educating cultural leaders, and praying for the changing of the culture and healing of female athletes, FIERCE trains women for mission and for life.
As FIERCE continues to expand nationally through speaking engagements, clinics, partnerships, and school chapters, we are seeking a highly organized, mission-driven leader to serve as Director of Operations & Expansion.
Position Summary
The Director of Operations & Expansion serves as a key leader within FIERCE Athlete Inc., overseeing the organization’s operational systems, event execution, financial administration, development support, and strategic growth initiatives. This is both an internal and external facing role. The individual will play an essential role in helping FIERCE scale its mission through operational excellence, relationship management, and expansion into new schools, partnerships, and communities.
The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, entrepreneurial, and deeply aligned with the mission and values of FIERCE Athlete Inc. This person will work on a fully remote team, so should possess strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, and a passion for forming young female athletes in faith and virtue.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Administration
Oversee logistics and execution for speaking engagements, clinics, retreats, events, and organizational travel
Manage scheduling, contracts, invoicing, reimbursements, registrations, and event follow-up
Maintain organizational systems including calendars, records, filing systems, internal workflows, and online platforms
Coordinate internal meetings, communication, and administrative support for staff and leadership
Assist with website updates, merchandise coordination, newsletters, proofreading, and organizational communications
Financial Management & Compliance
Manage bookkeeping processes including tracking payments, receipts, invoices, reimbursements, and budget reporting
Coordinate with accountants, bookkeepers, and financial partners to support organizational financial health
Oversee nonprofit compliance, insurance, memberships, annual filings, and operational documentation
Development & Fundraising
Support fundraising campaigns, donor communications, and donor database management
Assist with grant and foundation research, applications, reports, and partnership materials
Prepare mailings, reports, acknowledgments, and other development-related materials
Expansion & Strategic Growth
Support the growth of FIERCE through new partnerships, speaking opportunities, clinics, and school chapters
Research and cultivate new leads and expansion opportunities
Assist in developing scalable systems, resources, and infrastructure to support organizational growth
Team Leadership & Culture
Help strengthen team culture, accountability systems, and organizational processes
Attend annual Staff offsite meeting and staff retreat
Supervise interns and assist with staff coordination and professional development
Contribute strategic thinking, innovation, and problem-solving within a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
Qualifications
Deep alignment with the mission and values of FIERCE Athlete Inc.
Practicing Catholic in full communion with the teachings of the Catholic Church
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Former female collegiate athlete strongly preferred
Exceptional organizational and project management skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail
Experience with nonprofit operations, fundraising, event planning, or administration preferred
Familiarity with platforms such as QuickBooks, CRM systems, Stellar, Google Workspace, and project management tools preferred
Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to grow alongside a rapidly expanding nonprofit organization
